Implemented de facto on the date of April 2011, GAP TEYAP started operating on December 2013 and has been underway on issues such as capacity building operations for the technical staff that have been working on agricultural training extension to a large extent, capacity building operations for farmers and farmers’ organisations, coordination and co-operation among related organisations and institutions, and developing a suitable extension model for the region via demonstrating how the lack of services can be met through the extension of trainings.
As of January 2014, “Farmers’ Organizations centred Pluralistic Extension Model” developed under GAP TEYAP, was carried into execution. Application of extension model will be carried out in coordination of GAP BKI until December 2016. With respect to the sustainability and the extension of the model, studies are planned to be done during the period of January 2017 and December 2018.
